New Talent helps local interns fall in love with the region - Video
This summer 19 of the largest employers across Sarasota and Manatee counties came together for a community collaboration designed to help their interns and summer hires fall in love with the Gulf Coast.
The program served as an interactive environment for the interns to go behind the scenes at some of the most interesting business in the area to learn first hand what makes the Gulf Coast of Florida so unique.
We put together a short video to recap the summer.

The program, which started as an initiative of Bright Ideas on the Gulf Coast (BIG) and the CEO Forum just wrapped up its second year and reached more than 240 students, 90% of which would take a full time job on the Gulf Coast if offered the opportunity.
Named the 2018 Community Collaboration of the Year by Career Source Suncoast, the program is now entering the planning phase for year three.
